Do you find this plant to be short-lived? All three of mine have disappeared after seeming to be healthy and happy...

Hi Loree,
I think they mabe short lived but produce enough seed to keep small colony going. Otherwise I find them very cold hardy, forming a tight rosette of leaves early in the Spring. I originally grew these from seed from the Seed Exchange of a local Hort. Soc., and I have never been sure of the species. It is, anyway, a fabulous plant.
