Summer Foliage

Hi Wayne,
The plant in the foreground is Ligularia dentata 'Brit Marie Crawford', behind it is Catalpa bignonioides 'Aurea' ( I coppice this every Spring to keep it low and to produce lush new leaves). In the background there is another L. bignonioides and to the left some foliage of a Clematis recta.
Glad you enjoyed this combo.

These colors are incredible! I really need to start that yellow foliage garden that I've been talking about.

Hi Matt,

The Catalpa is still looking good despite the lack of rain, I wish I could say the same for the Ligularias, which need constant watering.
